Tantsu was developed by Harold Dull the same year he created Watsu, the world’s first aquatic bodywork. He developed a complete form for Tantsu practitioners to bring the life-giving support of Watsu and the connection between movement and breath back to earth. Tantsu is held in such a way that it allows for deep release. When our breath connects with our partner’s, the movements resonate in unison. As you move an arm or leg, you may feel another part of their body calling you to join in the dance. No part of our being is left out.
These movements, sometimes spontaneous and sometimes exploratory, playful and creative, bring us to a place of stillness and deep joy. Tantsu is a simple practice, in which everyone can share in this joy.
Free from the boundaries and interpretations attributed to other somatic and spiritual paths, Tantsu is a new way of being with others, a new humanism to access our creative joy.
A special Registry on the website www.watsu.com lists the courses and gatherings where those who have studied Tantsu can continue to develop their practice. The cradles of Tantsu can be learned from a video or a book, however the guidance of an expert instructor who knows what the variations are and what the fixed points are, can help you live your practice more deeply.
NEW : for the first time in Italy the TANTSU SPECIALIZATION course is born . Click here to download the document with the details.
